Load and energy coordination
Many jurisdictions now ask for a heating and cooling load calculation before they approve new or replacement equipment. Others require an energy compliance form with the permit set.
We coordinate the mechanical layout with these requirements and tell you which reports your office expects. Where a separate energy consultant or engineer is required, that is identified in the scope.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need HVAC plans for a mini-split?
Some offices accept a simple equipment plan and spec sheet. Others want a full mechanical sheet. We check your jurisdiction.
Can you size the equipment?
Equipment sizing is based on a load calculation. Where required, it is included or coordinated as part of the scope.
Do commercial mechanical plans need a seal?
Often yes. Where required, licensed engineer review and seal are coordinated, subject to the engineer's independent evaluation and acceptance.
Need HVAC plans for a permit?
Send the floor plan and equipment you plan to install. We confirm scope and price.
